I'm trying to install my Xonar on my DS3P, but when I try to screw it in it seems to lever the back of the card slightly out of the slot. At first I put my faith in the hardware and figured this must be ok, so I started the pc up and installed the drivers from the CD. Upon restart I was greeted by the black pre-windows screen saying something about new hardware and whether I wanted to start windows in safe mode or normally. Figuring something was wrong, I turned off the pc and unscrewed the card so that I could push it entirely into the slot. I turned the pc back on and it's working fine. However, I do hear the occasional *click* when I'm shutting down/booting up.
My questions:
Should I screw in the card or leave it like this?
Is this clicking sound normal? Kinda worried something might be sparking. I'm gonna turn it off and check all the connections now but I'm pretty sure they're all solid.
So yeah, dumb questions but I don't want my pc catching fire lol.
