Installing SSD

I have just bought a Samsung 840 pro. I am going to install windows 7 64 bit. I have an Asus Maximus V Gene motherboard.

Is the only BIOS change I need to do is change to AHCI mode?


Before installing windows do I need to run the CD that came with the drive?

When installing windows is just the same as when doing it with a normal hard drive? Will I need to format the SSD?

One last question. To change it to AHCI mode I go into the bios > go to advanced > got to sata configuration > go to sata mode selection > set it to AHCI
