Installing W7 constant issues..

I forever seem to be having issues trying to install win 7.. I have set my biosphere to boot from the cd but when ever I restart it always boots from the hdd first and loads the hdd first.. if I change my sata from ahci to ide suddenly it all boots correctly from the disk but crashes during the installer.. After reading other threads it seem ahci should work fine but I simply cannot get the cd to boot before the hdd.. I even tried a usb install but still the hdd takes priority and boots first..

Any advise?

Its a sata SSD drive and genuine win 7 disk both sata..

Does your BIOS have a boot select option during POST? Usually something like F12

YES it does but even if I select cd-rom it still boots windows.. doing my nut its like win7 has taken hold of my boot and won't let me boot from cd when ahci is on ..

Odd one, do you have a 4GB USB pendrive?
