Hi all

I recently bought an OCZ vertex 60gb to put my OS and a few games on. As I have some time today I decided to install windows,on the first attempt the disk was recognised the files were copied and then gave me this error:

windows cannot install required files. make sure all files required for installation are available

After reading around I went into the BIOS and changed the drive to ACHI but now instead of getting the error it just stays at expanding 0%.

someone help me please, my rig is in Sig and the mobo is an asus m4a77d

thanks
Hayley

I'd normally be tempted to say there's an error with the ISO or it didn't burn properly but if you've used it before maybe not.

Sorry I can't add anything else to help.

Just tried installing on a normal HDD and had the same problem so think it may be the disk. Going to try get another one then see what happens.
