Every time I try to install Windows Pro 64 bit I get a blue screen, I was wondering why this is.

My Computer

Dell XPS 710
3GB Ram
nvidia 8800GTX sLI'D
Intel Core 2 Duo 6400 @ 2.13

Please help as I want to be able to use 4GB of ram which I purcahsed

be glad its not installing, there are much better 64 bit OS out there then windows XP 64 bit
i would recommend getting hold of windows 7 64 bit as xp 64 has a lot of bugs that wernt ironed out not to mention lots of programs dont work on xp 64 bit including some of microsofts own

I've tried windows 7 but it doesn't let the Nvidia 8800GTX.

Meaning when I install the drivers and try using the Nvidia control panel there is no Sli function????

That's odd - I'm almost certain I had my 2 8800GTXs running in SLI on Win7, and there's no reason why they shouldn't. I've since upgraded to a GTX260, then a 480, so I could be wrong - but I don't think so.

64 bit XP is a dog, as s452 rightly pointed out.
