Ok, this is a thread pertaining to the best noodles in existence (my opinion of course)

Blue Dragon Chicken & Chilli Instant Noodles. 37-39p per packet.

I have been eating these for about 8 years. Seriously, the best noodles in existence of the instant type, any fellow addicts?

Oh, and any Super Noodles lovers, please do not post!
Super Noodles are bland! :D

I dont see the point. Get some fresh noodles and stir fry them with some soy sauce and anything else you fancy and you're done. Much better for you and takes about 5 minutes, if that.

They have absolutely nothing in them. I never feel satisfied after eating them. Even when I'm out of food and resort to boiling up 3 packets of them, I just wolf them down and feel no fullness, like eating water. :(

It's all about what you do with the noodles though. I would never eat just a packet of noodles on its own.

* Cook noodles in just enough water to cover
* Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and the flavouring that comes with it.
* When cooked, remove noodles from water and put in a bowl
* Into the leftover water, drop an egg.
* Cook egg until poached (ie the white has solidified. Might want to pull the white around a bit in the pan)
* Empty the egg and sauce into the noodles

Great little meal...

But why go to all that effort with a packet of super-noodles that contain lots of crap in? I'm no health freak, or an expert but i know the instant noodles are all full of salt, flavourings and stuff which can't be good for you. With something like what you just posted it'd be far nicer to use 'proper' noodles.

Meh, the whole thing only takes five minutes tops. Can be done with any ramen noodles... I tried it with egg noodles once or twice, but it never really worked.

Hey im all for eating some stuff that aint good for me on occasion, as long as i like them, im doing no one no harm, and i know that there are "healthier" alternatives about, but i hate to say it, im addicted to the "unhealthy" ones! :D

Although, looking at my mates super noodles, im just glad mine don't glow yellow in the dark!

Nissin and Blue Dragon noodles are lovely. But my current favourites are Yutaka Noodles with Tangy Tokyo Sauce yum!

Instant noodles are very tasty, but unhelthy, full of salt and preservatives, MSG a prime culprit. In addition the blocks of noodles are fried in palm oil so are unhealthy in that regard (does mean you can eat them without cooking though). Having said that I like the Sainsburys brand, and some random ones i found in an indian grocers.
