Insulating single brick extension

Quiet happy with this old thread being resurrected as looking at a new place and to convert the garage to man cave so would need to insulate the external wall

Also going to jump in here, I have an old style concrete prefabricated garage and would love to be able to insulate it to some degree without losing to much space internally. Willing to sacrifice up to 60-70mm pure wall max.

What do you want use the garage for?

For spending time in, maybe as an office for example, you'll be looking at something like Celotex PL4000, 62.5mm or 72.5mm.

Or a cheaper option would be to baton out the walls, put polystyrene in-between the batons and board with whatever you want if you're not going to be spending forever in there. Maybe if you want it more comfortable over the winter if you're working on a bike or car or something.

Its already a home gym, but needs more work to make it water tight, water seepage at floor level, very minimal but wouldn't want this to cause issues behind any insulation that is put up, and so that it stays warmer in the winter so that any heating that is done in there as well would be minimised.
