I got my policy renewal from NU last week..... £1298.99 with £520 excess.... much the same as last year. Thats for a 25 year old with 1 year NCB on a Peugeot 306 1.9TD.

Anyway, having shopped around I've now gone with Quinn Direct. £749.22 with £130 excess. Bargain :)

Do no fault accidents make a difference to your premium? Also If you have one and it doesnt go through your insurance company Ie you just deal with the other parties insurance company, do you have to declare it. I found it impossible to get an online quote once I put in no fault accident.

Probably not but you have to declare it. I'd rather they did the running around anyway.

quinn are ok but they actually gave me a policy without charging me anything and only having my name and address on file and didnt realise until i rang them up a month later to change cars so they cant be that good

Well NU made a mistake on my policy as well so nobody is perfect. I certainly wasn't going to pay an extra £550 though.
