I think this might answer my question but I want to be 100% sure before I (possibly) drive a car and not be covered.

On my policy it states:

The Policyholder may also drive with the consent of the owner a private
motor car not belonging to him/her and not hired to him/her under a Hire Purchase Agreement, within our territorial limits, providing there is a valid insurance policy in force for that car.
The Policyholder must also be driving in accordance with the terms of a valid
licence and must not be disqualified from driving.

This is with Admiral, TPFT. Am I right in thinking I can drive another car with the owners consent and knowing they're insured..?

Yes you can, if the other car is insured and you have the owners permission. It must alao be within certain limits so if the car is exotic or high value then check with Admiral first. Also note that insurance cover drops to third party (can't recall if just third party or tpf+t).

Mine has the exact wording but also states to look at section 1B of another document. Here in section 1B on my documents it has a list of exclusions. Last year this is where it said it was excluded even though i had that exact wording in another document.

Give it a once more over to just make sure.

This document is from Highway which is apart of LV.

Cheers Rybo, I've had another look and cant see anything about a sub-section. I'm the policy holder.

LV? Is that Liverpool victoria? Are they the same group as Admiral?

You are good to go then :)

Yeah Liverpool Victoria, don't think they are apart of Admiral though.

Enjoy driving your sisters Fiesta :p

If in doubt then phone Admiral to be 100% sure. but I'm sure I would drive with the same wording.
