Hi

Im looking at trying to save some cash,

So my question is , Ive just taken out some Pet insurance (about 6 months ago)

Can I cange it at any time or am I stuck with it for a Year?

I imagine there's a cancellation fee, or they may just cancel your policy if you stop paying them.

How are you paying for it?

Check your policy documents, or call them, or at least tell us who you're with.

I pay for it via a DD

yes ill need to dig out the policy and check it

But do you pay them direct, or have you effectively taken out a loan/finance agreement to pay monthly.

to be honest Matty I have no idea mate

like i said ill pour over the policy in the morning , next time ill need to read stuff properly

Its with te Kenel club if anyone knows

You can probably cancel for a fee. Just call them.

Yeah i'd look over the policy to see if there is a cancellation fee. If there is which is quite likely then i'd imagine it'd be pointless if you're trying to save a bit by switching.

You insured the pet for a reason. If he/she needs treatment then 1 claim could easily wipe out the cost of a year's worth of premiums.

Don't be too hasty cancelling, sod's law and all that.
