That's just slightly scary but it's your call. From what I've seen there's not much benefit in specific camera insurance for amateurs compared to the cover that's available through a normal home contents policy. In fact the last quote I got for specific camera cover was more than I pay for contents including the camera.
In the past 10 or so years if we had insurance it would have cost more than what we'd of saved anyway =)
