Moved around the corner, different area and now my renewal quote is £3000 dearer...

Makes me bloody mad!

My area is actually a village so I'm actually shocked it's that high.

Just try another insurer. This is your current insurers way of explaining that they don't want your business, but if you insist, they'll do it for £3k.

I asked, they just stated the change of area.

Go compare seems to suggest higher prices with my new area to my old.

3k extra on his premium would suggest close to a bomb testing facility thats prone to breakins, tornados, floods and other random acts of god with a persistant nuclear stain.
