Hey all,
Currently own a Clio which when bought I was told it was a cat D write off,
Now I am currently taking lessons and when I pass my test was hoping to get insured without any problems, got a few quotes online and the cheapest I could find was with Morethan at £1400 3rd party fire and theft.
Now my question is none of these online quotes ask if the car is a write off and I just presumed they already know and charge more to insure it but I have been told you must ring them and tell them. Now where would I stand if I just insured it online and came to make a claim because at the end of the day I bet a lot of people buy cars not knowing they are written off.
Does anyone else have any expierence with this and/or have made a claim in a similar situation.
Any help would be great,
Thanks, Sam
