Still no idea how you guys take an individual link off autotrader. Anyway - black 02 ci sport £14,500 with reg number showing - RJ52 JVT.

Get the little box open, right click in a bit of space and go to properties. It will have the direct address in there which you can copy :)

GL with the car by the way, having had experiences like yourself in the past with long journeys and timewasters i can sympethise :(

Open the window in Internet explorer, press f11, and theres your link at the top (press it again to make it small again).

Glad you've found something interesting dude. Any news on your cheque from crapheads dad?. Should pay to have the alloy done on the new one lol.

Mummys boy sent me a text this morning saying sorry and would I like the car with £200 off the price. :D As if!

I might accept though - get him to deliver it to me and change my mind when he pulls up outside, see how he likes that. :D

I wouldn't be so quick to turn that down if the car itself was what you wanted.

I agree. If it's really what you're after, it'd be a shame to turn it down, especially for the lower price!

Me neither, deal with his mum though! She sounds relatively level headed.
Phone her and say the deal is on, with the condition that she delivers the car to you.
I guess the £200 off is the compensation for your hirecar etc?

 Definately play him along until this other deal goes through, you never know you might need it as a fallback.

Keep the original as a reserve. The honest guy sounds like a much better person to deal with and probably knows a thing or two about the car, unlike the muppet you first dealt with!

Id give it one last go, then call it a day. Be a shame if its what you want and an extra £200 in your back pocket.

Ok, I'll text him back and keep him warm. Going to see this other one tomorrow night so if that doesn't work out I'll go back to the idiot and try one last time despite the fact he's now let me down twice remeber - once on Sunday and again Monday.

Not really bothered about £200 - I just want an honest car with no arsing around.

:)

id say to him, for all the hassle, £200 off, and he delivers it to your house by a set time, say, 5pm on friday or whatever, if the car isnt there, just dont bother calling me

Its a car, they are just material items made of metal and plastic and have no personal value...why would you be bothered? :)

I have spent 3 years making my car and its still not done. When it is done i will cherish it more than i would my own child :p

Making your car? Thats a shade different to buying a BMW 3-series or a Honda Integra of which thousands exist and money can simply buy another one if something were to happen to it :)

Its not always that simple though, is it? If my car was written off I would be unable to replace it with another just like it for the same money.

Try finding one like merlins Integra though.

Also my Rover I had for 5.5years

DC5's I doubt there's much more than 450 in the UK presently, with I guess 25 or so max for sale at any one time.

Really hope this black one is good tonight. I'm sick of this C4, I got smoked by a Transit Van this morning.

While you would probably pay a slight financial penalty, that wasnt really the point i was making, more that i cant see how one could get attached to something that can simply be replaced with money with an exact same/better one. :)

For example i am attached to things like an old stuffed toy ive had since birth, my photo albums, things which fern has made for me/written to me/given me.

Attached to my plasma tvs/washing machine/a mass produced car? No way
