? Its designed to be a track focussed road car. Just because it doesn't have heated leather and parking sensors, doesn't mean it doesnt offer good value. They are amazingly reliable given their purpose and I certainly grinned when I drove one.

I'd certainly be grinning years after I had it, hell i'm still grinning after drivings its fat, saggy brother for two years.

And if that isnt value, I don't know what is

For a start you wont get a 10 yr old UK ITR and if your paying £7k for a 98 you may well be paying too much.

£7k is 98 spec JDM Teg aorund a 2000 plate as the 'elite' DC2 :cool:

Its sat around EP3 CTR and close to DC5 money now. So the DC2 along with EK9 look like depreciation is something that isnt really a concern.

There not uber VFM in terms of car but smiles rating is pretty high and there are certainly dont cost the earth to run so the initial hit is atleast capital you can get back.

They aren't value for money but are awesome. If you want a similar performing but 80% of the handling consider a Prelude VTEC with LSD for around £1500.

Roughly same power (196 bhp for Prelude.) Not as good in handling, but if you like the looks then VFM is superb. Then spend £1000 on decent suspension and you've probably got an equally good car!

I would love a DC2 but not at how much they cost curently.

Now that is a CTR i like, not keen on the newer models (2005) and i hate the newest models.
