Hi, I know someone who wants to build a (average) PC (her brother told her it's cheaper but I'm skeptical about this).
She's a student and on a very tight budget. She wont be playing games at all so I was wondering whether going for a motherboard with an integrated graphics controller would worth the savings of getting an el cheapo graphics card. Would the fact that the graphical processing is done by the motherboard noticeably affect performance whilst watching DVDs etc? I wouldn't have thought so, but when she asked me this, i found i couldn't answer it with certainty.
In regards to the spec, all I know at the moment is that she is getting a 65nm C2D processor and 2GB PC-6400 RAM, sorry I can't provide any more information on the system.
