Integrated graphics ?

I've read somewhere that if you don't disable integrated graphics it can have an impact in performance ? Is this true and if so how do I check ? Also heard that this could effect the ram usage if enabled ?

This is obviously if you have a dedicated gpu

where did you read it? it's BS.

you can check in BIOS/UEFI.

Never herd of that before, with onboard enabled it will use a small amount of memory.

Read it on other forums , just seen it twice , once for gpu problems and the other was ram usage. It was just someone's reply saying he solved it by disabling the integrated graphics so I was wondering if there was any truth in this , obviously not cheers guys !

I disabled it and didn't gain any boost.

Other with some bugs in Mantle cause by integrated graphics, it does not have any impact.
