Comet Lake probably will launch in the next few months or sometime in Q4 2019.

Will be very interesting to read Comet Lake CPUs reviews. Very glad I didnt bought 9900K.

9900K will probably have a huge price cut when Comet Lake launch with $499 i9 -10900KF 10C/20T to the bottom $129 Core i3 10100 4C/8T.

Core i3 will finally have hyper-threading!

Intel will still the gaming king!

Intel "Comet Lake" Not Before 2020, "Ice Lake-S" Not Before Q3-2020, Roadmap Suggests

Next day techpowerup got another leak but it was quite different from before.

Back in May it been thought LGA 1200 is for server CPUs after 400 series chipset driver leaked so now look like Comet Lake consumer CPUs will use socket LGA1200, not LGA1159.

There will only be 2-3 SKU's out in Q4, and when I say out I mean the usual paper launch with no stock anywhere for weeks/months, and what is there will be gouged. The majority of that product stack will be out in Q1 '20. Likely be the 'K' parts that are announced first.

No room in the 10c part for an iGPU, and socket change sounds ominous for power draw, wishful thinking rating 10c at 105w too.

TBH, I am pleasantly surprised by this lineup. It looks better than AMD's.
We will get a 65W 10-core CPU for 410$ + 120$ board (530 total), instead of a furnace stupid that is the R9-3900X for 500$ + 200$ board (700 total).
AMD's greediness will kill them. :D

So you think a $409 non-K chip with a 2.7ghz base is good. Then invented a $120 board price to make the price sound appealing.

Ok...

As for heat, all I'll say is Intel better finally solder these massive 10 core chips that are still stuck on 14nm (see SkylakeX). Heat probably explains why the base clocks are all so low.
