Intel 12x00 + DDR4 + ITX - Am I really limited to only Asrock?

I'm not exactly a fan of Asrock's motherboards, especially their lower-end motherboards. But for an Intel 12400 or 12600 CPU with DDR4 and the ITX form factor they seem to be the only solution. Are there no others?
 
Ill take it your looking at the z690m-ITX right. i was thinking of upgrading to a 12th gen from my i3 9100 to a 12400f however, the motherboard prices are very high especially the asrock where it looks very plain with no io cover at all. but im limited to a mITX as im using a nzxt H1. for ddr4 aswell
 
if you dont mind me asking what is the difference between the b660i that i linked and the asrock z690m itx like performance wise
 
Z690 allows cpu overclocking while B660 doesn't, which isn't really important unless you're getting a K chip. The asrock z690m-itx has a weak VRM (that aorus b660 has a better one lol) and a power limit of 150W so it's not great for overclocking anyway.

The main gripe I have with that b660i is that it only has 1 M2 slot, £200 for a board you can't overclock with is also crazy to me but that seems to be the sorry state of the itx market right now
 
Apparently that Gigabyte board is in plentiful supply down under but has yet to actually reach the UK.

That was the one I was hoping to go for. Two weeks ago I contacted gigabyte and they said it would be released here in...two weeks and to contact retailers for more info. Nowhere seems to have any idea when it will be out.

Considering getting a cheaper board then upgrading when ddr5 is more readily available - I'm guessing the 13th gen boards will be backward compatible
 
The Aorus B660I Pro is listed at a few competitors. One of them lists availability as 11th Feb.

£200 give or take a few bob.

Really want one for a simple 12400F build, but even if I had the cash, I'm not sure I can justify 200 notes for an ITX board I have no intention of overclocking, even if I could.

There's a Gigabyte z690i aorus ultra ddr4 that seems to finally be available in some places - I was going to go for this one but there are reports of issues with PCIe 4 as well as coil whine.

Ended up deciding to hold off another year or two and just upgrade once DDR5 has matured a bit and prices aren't ridiculous
 
there are not enough reviews of the new boards, the Gigabyte boards (Z690i) seem to be suffering with a few issues, the Asrock H670M looks good on paper, but no real reviews available.
