Please forgive me if I was wrong, just read to my early morning eyes as a fairly ignorant post posted in a confrontational style, typical of people trolling.
On the subject of backups, firstly reads from the SSD do not cause any wear. It is only rewriting that uses erase cycles. Secondly there are many backup solutions, such as Acronis, which work Incrementally - so they only need to back up changes made since the last backup. This cuts the amount of data right down to a few hundred MB most days which takes seconds on a fast network. You could set incremental backups every hour if you wanted, the more frequently you take them, the less time each one takes. SSD's are perfectly suited to perform backups without interupting your workflow.
If you don't want to use Acronis, I believe the built in Windows 7 Backup also works incrementally.
If the data is so valuable that you can't afford to lose even an hours worth, there are also free products like Dropbox or Mozy which you can use to constantly keep your documents folders syncronised to encrypted online cloud storage.
I don't think the AFR on the 320 series will be anywhere near 4%, but there'll never be any way to know. If your heart is set on the 710 series though, I suggest you use the webnote system to ask the OCUK staff directly.
