Hey guys just plugged my intel 750 nvme pci e ssd (400gb version)

got it booted with windows 10 on and have got around to doing a speed test.

As you can see these are not the 2.2gb/s i should be getting on read. Writes are quite close.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this :)?

EDIT : I should probably mention i am running this on a X99 Delux and a 5820k i have one gpu installed.

Hey Fred thanks for the reply.

I just installed the older NVME driver and then installed the new one on top of it and my results are now far better then before :D!

thanks for the reply buddy

Have a good weekend!

Should have posted really here is mine after doing the double driver install.

I noticed that the top sequential speeds were rock solid stable once the score from the first test came in they did not alter at all over the following 4.

PS i decided to leave the wallpaper in as i feel it is fitting for these speeds xD

Are you finding the performance for day to day things better? Like are your boot speeds vastly improved over your previous SSD drives?

They both give same result for me :( I dug a bit into it and it turns out that PCIe slot the card is in is not in 3.0 mode. I'm not sure why is that because it is "red" 3.0 slot where 3/4 way cards would go :(

problem solved:

speed of PCI slot the SSD is in was "Auto" in BIOS. This was incorrectly defaulting to PCIe 2.0.

Explicit "Gen3" setting made things a bit faster :)
