Intel Arc Gameplay Trailer | The Game Awards 2021 | Intel Graphics

Intel won't help pricing any and they won't have any more stock than the competition, given they're also using TSMC. Their drivers have also historically been absolutely wretched for gaming purposes. I'm sure they'll improve now that they have dedicated GPUs and a new focus on gaming, but I'm still sceptical that they'll get it anything close to right at launch. I think it'll take a good while to iron out the bugs that will inevitably be found.

lol at anyone thinking intel wont charge max price they can possibly get away with and are treating them as some sort of gpu savior

Is anyone doing that?

Some people have referred to the possibility that Intel might attempt to gain market share by undercutting the existing duopoly on price, but of course it would be silly to describe that in the way you did.

How good are their hash rates gonna be? They will fly off the shelves if they beat the other two and we circle back to where are currently sit with lol prices or no stock :p

It would still depend on availability because if Arc cards are the best for mining then miners will only buy other cards if they can't buy Arc cards. The price of other cards would therefore have to drop in order to sell them.

My guess is that INtel won't be able to make very many Arc cards, availability of all dGPUs will remain extremely low and price will remain ludicrously high, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

Doesn't matter. By the time they release no one's going to be adding any more GPUs to their rigs because there will be only ~3 months left to mine Eth, so that means ROI = never.

You know theres plenty of other coinc to mine other than ETH? Recently FLUX/ERGO and RVN have been more profitable at times. EIP4345 (the difficulty bomb ) isnt the savour you pretend it is

Its just ETH as any either coin's profitability would collapse instantly even if only a small percentage of the ETH hashing power switched to it.
