Intel 'baxaxe' (version1) D975XbX and the chip is a Core 2 E6600 running at 2.4 ghz

will this run the nvidia gfx card / how about sli ?

It'll run a single nvidia card fine. To run SLi you need an SLi capable chipset based board - ie an Nvidia based one.

Wasn't that the board that could do SLI with hacked drivers? Google seems to suggest so, I dunno how well it worked, or what the drivers entailed though.
