They do their job.

If all you'll ever do is run media player and surf the net you'll be fine. If you want to game at decent graphical levels you'll want a P4 or (better) an Athlon 64.
 
There ok for web browsing and some light gaming. A Sempron 64 would be my choice tho if i couldnt afford a Athlon 64
