Intel Conroe

I was wandering do current intel processor motherboards support intel conroe processors? or will new motherboards be released specifically for conroe like AMD's AM2?

From what I've heard from other members, one (or some) of Intels existing high end chipsets already support it, but that motherboard vendors have generally not implemented the required circuitry on the boards.

Personnally I'm going to wait until some new boards come out with good clocking abilities before making a decision.
