My elcrest 510 hard drive (120Gb) seems it may have a problem.
When i test the speed of it with any hard drive testers its running very very slow...ie 2.5Mb/s
pc is slow and sluggish and takes ages to boot. Had it happen a couple of weeks back so i did a reinstall and that fixed it....but now its happened again
Are there any known issues with this drive?
Normally it runs at about 360Mb/s
Running on xp (for technical reasons) but it was all working fine an hour ago
