And yeah even £40 for such thing is not much. Did you bother with glueing the IHS back or is it held by the socket?

Is it possible that my motherboard blocks me from overclock? I mean: 5.0ghz or higher will just stop at A9 or 71 LED debug code.. 4.9ghz POSTs.

The only point at which damage is seriously done is if your temps go too high, or you will kill you CPU if you go to like 1.7v (Although the actual value varies from chip to chip).

I can boot at 5Ghz at 1.45 v but it's an instant BSOD. Don't fancy increasing volts for a measly 100Mhz more.

Yes glued back on.

Your mobo is more than enough to feed this CPU, 5Ghz is very hard to get and would require a real golden chip.

Seems like anything above 4.4GHz is not stable. I have tested almost all possible/sensible Voltages (up to 1.32!) and instant BSOD, crash after simple test (cinebench) or during Intel Burn Test. Bad chip I guess?

Delidded my CPU

Temps dropped by 12C. Although I bent pins (thank you EKWB..)
