Some motherboards did dump too much voltage through the CPU on their default profiles, but I wouldn't say that overheating was the primary issue or primary symptom of this, more of a secondary consequence.I was under the opinion that all 13th & 14th Gen had this voltage issue that caused overheating, hence me saying I've updated BIOS.
The Vmin shift (as Intel calls it) is more a generally elevated voltage that leads to degradation over time.
They did, 5 year for K/KF from 13th-14th gen.Intel supposedly extended RMA timeperiod available.
No. 12th gen CPUs don't have the problem.The only other CPU possible was the 12600 or so and was wondering if that suffered from this issue too.
