I would like to get a Intel i5 2500K as it performs better than any other AMD processors, but my current budget is £126 so I can't get a new Intel i5 2500K however I can get a used Intel i5 2500K, but will there be any negative points of buying a used CPU?

The main issues with second hand sales are initial condition and warranty.
As for initial condition, if you are buying from a trusted seller (and one who will give you your money back if it doesn't work when you get it) then this is less of an issue. However, if you are buying from a feller in Asia with no arrangement like this - then you are on shaky ground, since if it arrives non-working then you may have to go through a whole polava to either get a working chip or your money back.
As for warranty, intel offers 1 year of coverage on OEM CPUs and 3 years on boxed retail CPUs. If you are buying second hand then you can't access this warranty service if the chip fails since you aren't the original purchaser (they do ask for proof). If the seller offers to deal with any RMA for you in the event of a failure, then again this mitigates the problem.
That said, modern proper retail Intel CPUs tend to be very hardy and the failure rate is very low - so chances are you won't need to make use of the warranty, but having it (or a way of accessing it) is very good peace of mind.

remember your comparing a intel cpu to a amd one you cant just take one out and put in the other.
what motherboard do you have?
I don't have a Intel motherboard at the moment but I am willing to spend £130 on a Intel motherboard

In that case I would suggest spending £85 on this good value (but still fully featured) board (review here) and use the money you saved to buy the i5 2500K CPU from a reputable shop.

That is the board I have, works awesome and will overclock to 4.6ghz with a few settings. Will go higher then 4.6 but temps start to raise on air.
