Intel i5 2500k

Appears I've got my intel burn test stable at 4.8ghz with 1.37vcore. Reckon thats a safe 24/7 OC? Its under water so temps arent an issue.

settings you tried? 1.39v here @4.6GHz, cpu comes from the overclockers guaranteed 4.60GHz overclock bundle.

- Do not exceed 1.425v core voltage, doing so could limit lifespan of the CPU
- Aim to keep temperatures below 70c underload if at all possible
- Do not overclock with BCLK, again doing so could limit lifespan of the CPU
- Recommended memory voltage is 1.50v, so make sure to run your memory at 1.50v, higher than 1.60v could limit lifespan of the CPU
- These recommendations come from OcUK and Intel, your warranty is un-affected but we highly recommend you adhere to the above to make sure your CPU lifespan is un-affected
- All Sandybridge CPU's worldwide should be run at the above or lower voltages, no higher!

Turns out it was a false start as its not stable below 1.4v by the looks of it, which I'm uncomfortable using. Running 4.6ghz atm with 1.344v and it seems fine.

Only settings ive changed is my RAM down to 1.5v from 1.65v and the rest is on auto. Offset is bugged by the looks of it as it doesnt appear to actually work for me at all lol. Using fixed due to that.

If you changed the Ram from 1.65v to 1.5v did you check with memtest to see if it was stable? 1.4v vcore is as far as overclockers advise.

I am running at
vcore = 1.39v (manual)
vtt = auto (1.05v in BIOS)
BCLK = 100
cpu PLL = 1.80625v seen as 1.806v in bios. Increase to keep it at 1.8volts, was 1.793v.
vdram = 1.6v ( Ram reports it works @ 1.65v max. freq, works at 1.6v as well just fine). 9-9-9-28
Current limit = 130% ( 100% works as well for me )
Load Line Calibration = extreme.
VRM phase control = extreme.
vrm freq. = 350 ( Could be better on 350, auto works as well for me).
spread spectrum = off
vrm duty control = T.Probe. (Extreme is better for overclocking but it does not affect my overclock set to T.Probe).
ratio =46.0

Most of the increases in vcore for me where to get IBT stable @ max. setting above 15 runs. At 1.39 volts I get 60/60 okay in IBT and no BSOD at shutdown (happen once which is enough for me to start IBT).

My setup is:-
- CPU: Intel Core i5 2500K 3.30GHz
- Motherboard: Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68
- RAM: Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel (Each module kit has been tested to run at DDR3-1600MHz at a low latency timing of 9-9-9-27 at 1.65V)
- Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO Cooler
- Artic Silver 5 Thermal Compound
Waiting for Graphics card prices to be sane.

4.6ghz @ 1.344v is very nice and I wish my processor ran at that.
