Dunno if its the same for the i5 etc but i put my intel i7 cooler on to ttest the CPU whilst waiting for my V8 to arrive.
What a job removing it, even with the notch/screw twisted fully, it felt like it was gna burst the mobo, i ended up having to crush the cooler snap pins (if thats what there called) at the back of the mobo then pull at it with pliers from the front. I will never fit one of these again lol
