Intel’s strategy is to enter the desktop and HP server graphics market. They need that to own that last 10% that Nvidia and AMD operate in. Plus if China do invade Taiwan and take over TSMC…

This is, in part, why TSMC are investing heavily in fabs outside of Taiwan. They may say it's to bolster production capabilities even further, but you just know there's some protection against China at work.
