Could a 6-port Matrix-Raid be configured like this:

DISK1 non-raid (OS system drive)

DISK2 first raid-0 (first out of two)
DISK3 first raid-0 (seccond of two)

DISK4 seccond raid-0 (first out of two)
DISK5 seccond raid-0 (seccond of two)

DISK6 reserved for external eSATA connection

The important issue is if two seperate raid-0 arrays
(2 HD´s each), could be set up side by side, I have
not been able to understand this reading intels site

(I need to read fast and write faste at once)

Thanks for any help

Yeah, shouldn't be an issue with setting it up like that. You'll possibly find that the sixth SATA port will be available for another internal disk. The ICH9R southbridge on current P35 boards does not support IDE devices so manufacturers are adding a discrete controller (usually from JMicron) for the IDE but it gives them a couple of SATA ports for free which they're tending to send out the back as eSATA ports.
