Intel P35 Chipset and Memory Re-Mapping

Its here on my Asus Blitz Formula,if i don't have it enabled my 4gb of ram shows up as 3gb on bios post.

because they are different BIOS & afaik it's upto the individual company to decide what to enable or not - even then some boards within a mfr's portfolio may have it & others may not..
I don't think that the abit P35s have it either.

ok, so if they don't have the memory re-mapping option, but they support more than 4GB of RAM natively, does this mean they have x64 bios?
 
Not sure what you mean about X64 Bios

There are options to enable 64bit HPET for example

yeah i thought that might sound stupid, i just heard the the reason the bios doesnt support 4GB native is because its 32bit, like 32 windows doesnt... but i guess thats not true.

but in that case, why DONT they support 4GB+ native?
