Mate, I think I mentioned this in another thread but the speed of your CPU is incorrect, something somewhere is wrong, it should read 2.83Ghz at stock
Your rated FSB should be 1333
Your multiplier should be 8.5
Check your power options in control panel and select the power scheme "always on" it may be that Speedstep is enabled.
Check your BIOS settings as well.
If you are not yet confident with altering your bios settings then please go into the Cell menu options and take a photo if possible.
Before overclocking it is vital that you find out why you CPU is effectively underclocked at the moment.
Why has everyone ignored this and just posted their own efforts?

He has the speed step enabled which is why its dropped to 6x multi.
We have asked for Bios pics to help him but are waiting
And when he runs prime or orthos to test stability then the speedstep issue will, in a roundabout way, not be an issue. Right?

thaks for the info sweet....I'll have a look see when I get home tonight and will post up info as and when I get my hands on it.
Looking at it you are right and I'd wondered why it was only 1960 as opposed to 2830
