Intel Raid: Initialising ?

Just got this after installing my new fx, PC has been off for about 3 weeks.

Is it a case of one of the RAID1 discs has ballsed up and its busy rebuilding the array/re mirroring all the data?

Not seen this before.

EDIT: Also just noticed writeback isn't on this one, if I turn it on whilst initialising will it initialise faster r do I risk killing everything on there ?

Well I could access all info while it was initialising.

It's finished initialising and I've ran a HD Tach test and healthcheck and all looks fine.

Wonder what that was about then :s
