3000Mhz atleast is what Ive always said, but 3000Mhz RAM is now the same price as 3200Mhz RAM (£200) so go for that instead.
There are gains to be had over 2133/2400/2666 in games.
After 3200Mhz the extra cost of higher speed ram can instead be used to go for a higher speed GFX card that will give larger gains.
So the recomendation now is 3200Mhz 16GB.
So shall i concentrate on good RAM speed more over a stronger GPU?
Was looking at a 1050 zotac
Depend if the next speed RAM up can instead get you saya 1050Ti
I could get some RAM from MM to save some cash... Would a 1060 3gb be worth it over a 1050Ti.. The 6gb is stretching my current budget to far
depending on the games you play 8gb of ram is all you need, i play a mix of RPG and FPS and have never had a problem with only running 8gb of ram.
1050ti is a good GPU but a 1060 is better its that simple, if your only gaming at 1080p then 3gb of vRam is fine
lets start from the top what gen and model CPU are you looking at getting
Get the best GFX card you can, thats where the gains will be best, so a GTX1060 3GB/RX580 4Gb will be worth it over the lower tier cards (1060/570 etc)
The g4560 will make a good budget system for gameing
Forget about 16gb of ram go with the best priced 8gb 2666mhz+ kit.
The best performance gains will come from GPU get the best you can.
Do you need a full system or do you have some parts like HDD/SSD in an old system
What about getting a second hand GPU for the price of a 1050 you can pick up an.780ti or 980.
Ets2 and FIFA I know run max settings on a gtx660 you could pick up a gtx770 for around £60 and put rest into system. You only need 8gb of ram too, also any ram would do so get the budget stuff.
So right now you have 500 to spend. And you have a 1030 you can reuse.
Why not get an i3/mobo/ram
The new i3's are quad core and are good CPU's for gameing
