Hi guys I got this question, I'm installing a new win64 with ahci in bios because I heard is faster, well... But no idea if I have to install intel rapid storage once in windows to make work this ahci properly.

I dont have any raid just a sdd in a 6gb port for windows...And the others HDD for dates in 3gb ports.

Is that correct? because when I'm installing this intel rapid storage my samsung f3 dissapear from my PC I can see them in driver manager but I can't use them.

I don't think it's required in that case, it's basically just Intel's own driver (rather than the Windows one) along with an application that monitors the HDD health etc.
