Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver : Updates

The latest Intel Rapid Storage Tech Driver was released in August and I didn't see any threads relating to the latest release.

I didn't even know it was out until today and was met with me being 8 driver updates behind , although I kinda remember going back a driver due to BSODS

12.8.0.1016. = Latest as of Today

I take it this isn't required if you don't have hard drives in a RAID configuration?

It's recommended to install it anyway if you have an Intel based system

I've been getting a lot of these lately in event viewer. Searching the forums brings up this thread

System is running fine, no crashes, freezes games work fine e.t.c

I'm running 12.8.6.1000 which is the latest WHQL. Try that and see if it fixes your issue.

I'm using 12.8.0.1016 so I need to update

Installed without a hitch, didn't use the beta though
