INTEL RAPTOR LAKE NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER !

Ohwow these ended up a lot cheaper than AMD release today, Very tempted to upgrade my 12600k given that massive cache increase, should give gaming a big jump.

OcUK is generally cheaper than some competitors too, some great competition in the CPU scene. :)

Bit high £££ considering its $589

No its not.

$589 / 1.07 = £550 exc VAT, with VAT that is £660 Inc. VAT, as prices leaked are excluding shipping and handling to the UK, plus margin it is not high at all. Some competitors are close to £800, OcUK is cheap and is been as fair as possibly can with prices on the latest CPUs. :)

I had a google after someone above said about the prices and saw you were £100 cheaper on the 13900k :D

Sorry I feel I'm forever replying/@ing you atm but do you know when the new motherboards will be listed?

The CPUs we can ship from 20th October.
@ScottiB is PM for motherboards. I suspect they will be added over coming days and weeks. :)
Get the CPU pre-orders in as I've no idea how supply is looking so far on 13th gen, AMD 7000 series supply is no issue, so hopefully Intel shall have plenty too.

So I'm an idiot when it comes to a lot of PC stuff. On the description it says the below
I'm going 64GB again so, does that mean I can't buy any memory that is more than 5200 as it will be a waste?

Intel work to JDEC spec.

With 32GB you can overclock beyond 7000MHz
With 64GB upto 6000MHz will be possible.
128GB should still be able to see 4800-5200MHz with a good CPU and RAM.

As your going 64GB I’d advice a 5600MHz kit or a 5200MHz kit.

@Gibbo can i ask whats the crack with Z790 motherboards, some retailers showing 3-4 brands of limited boards, ocuk just Asus, is there a date when they will all be on site?? never known it like this, just seems all over the place.

@ScottiB is probably still setting them up, it is mental busy at the moment but all boards will be live by 20th that he can get hold of. :)

I like how you guys in the UK actually get your stuff on launch day as it's shipped a day or two before. In the US we have to wait for launch day for stuff to ship or even be orderable. It's so annoying.

Can you not just collect in store on the day? Many places in the UK allow product to be collected as well.

Hi there

All CPU's live and we have in stock on every CPU:

If it shows pre-order bear with us the website has a big update been implemented and once done they will show in stock. If they sell out we have several more hundred due next week on 13900K Retail. :)

What is up with the motherboard situation? I keep seeing ppl mention stuff but nothing is explained in detail. I really hope I don't have to wait longer for my motherboard. I am suffering on the inside not being able to build my new PC :(

@Gibbo You may be able to provide the best answer to this.

@ScottiB is your man for motherboards.

Stock is very tight, were one of the few resellers to actually have 13900K in stock. :)

and what do you mean by exchange rate? :p
I included the exchange rate..it's $300 after tax it's $330 current exchange rate converts that to £300.

US local tax is around 7%..
MSRP of 13600k is $300 after tax it's $320
the price I mentioned is total price buyer pays around $330 which equals to GBP £300.
here we pay £380  but why? clearly that's not the UK MSRP I wonder if it's initial price gouging set by retailers?

VAT in the UK is 20%

but even 20% VAT translates 300USD to £360 not £380
is there an official MSRP for 13th gen for UK?
the UK MSRP includes VAT.

as another example the AMD 5800X3D US MSRP is $450 in the UK it's £419
so why such a difference in 13Th gen? $300 can never translate to £380..

MSRP stands for Manufacturer Suggested Retail Pricing, the key point been suggested and the margin the retailer makes is their discretion. Were sitting at 8-10% margin on that product as it is brand new and in high demand, resellers won't start dropping prices to 5% and below unless they have too.

Comparing to 5800X 3D is pointless, product has been out for months and AMD is running rebate campaigns to sell more stock, hence it is reduced from its regular MSRP of £449 to £419 as AMD is rebating ourselves to sell that low.

Also Intel MSRP are the price for 1000+ in tray quantity, Intel never generally release a retail MSRP, so the prices generally seen as others have suggested do need shipping added to the price and of course people buying single units do not get the 1k plus pricing. ;)

We are willing to sell them for less if a customer wants to say buy 100+ from us, then a deal can be cut, but as it stands our price is competitive within the UK market. :)

@Gibbo when is the 13900k back in stock? ETA on the website is 26/10.

Don’t have a Delorean so just hoping it’s imminent ;)

We expecting 3-4 separate deliveries and all are overdue, I am been told that two of them should be here this week, but until I see them in my warehouse I won't hold my breath as I have had to import stock.
