Intel releasing new chips immune to Spectre/Meltdown?

Do we know when Intel plan on releasing new chips that are immune from Spectre/Meltdown at the hardware level?

Wasn't it rumoured to be later this year?

We're just planning some hardware upgrades and don't know whether to wait or not.

I did actually mention AMD at work, but people still think of the old AMD (budget brand).

So that idea was shot down pretty quickly. :/
