Does OCUK have an Intel rep?

My NUC phono port died for the second time after a firmware update in less than 4 months. 1st went back to the retailer (not OCUK as didn't have stock) and the 2nd to Intel. I sent the whole retail box (minus memory and SSD as i did to the retailer). I have received a brown box with no power cord so i cant actually use it without power. Intel wont send me a cord or send my faulty NUC back instead. I don't see why I should have to buy a new one when the item was faulty.

Thanks.

No intel rep here. My advice is that you write a polite but strongly worded message to their customer support telling them what it will take to resolve the situation. If you don't have any luck and they won't escalate the problem send a e-mail to the CEO's office and spam them on twitter.

Reading back through all the emails they sent me it actually does say don't return the cables and box :o:(. This is also a refurbished one as there are no protective stickers on it and the front is scratched. I wished i had returned it to the retailer now.

I might as well do a firmware update again and return in to the retailer where I'll get a new boxed retail version

I was using it for work right up until the courier arrived to collect it so rushed packaging it up. I wrongly assumed unlike the retailer they wanted it all back. I will receive the missing lead when it arrives in stock. I ordered one for a few pounds from eBay as couldnt wait. If this one dies (3rd) i'm asking for a refund to get the AMD version i was originally going to get as i need something reliable.

What's 'half a power cord'?

If they've just sent you a PSU the plug part could be a standard fitting, possibly C7. You might even have one knocking around.
