Intel RST - Do I Need It?

I have it currently installed but it takes about 3-4 mins before it starts fully after startup. I only have one SSD (Crucial C300) and one mechanical HDD. As I'll be doing a re-install this weekend I just want to know if it's worth installing it or just using the native Windows 7 drivers. My setup is:

2600k
MSI P67A-GD65
8 GB RAM
C300 64 GB SSD
Samsung 1TB HDD

For some reason Intel RST is set to delayed startup in Win 7.

If you go to Computer Management and select Services you can set Intel RST to start automatically and it will then start as soon as you boot into Windows.

I've already set it to that. It starts straight away but then the blue circle on the icon takes about 3-4 mins before it turns into the tick.

BIOS and all drivers are up to date as well.
