Intel screws users yet again - Bios and Driver downloads removed.

Windows 10 downloads everything anyway, who cares.

I had no idea that Windows 10 could boot a corrupt Bios Motherboard and then install the latest Bios that no longer exists with the latest CPU microcodes that intel only just added a couple of months ago before they deleted all downloads.

That's amazing , especially helpful for Linux users , Thanks randommatt...

WTF!

I've been meaning to update the Bios on my DH61AG and now i can't and i'm defiantly not going to download a Bios from a 3rd party site or torrent without the original security hash from Intel.

Yet another reason to buy AMD.

Users on Reddit tried collecting all the downloads before they were removed by Intel but as you say you don't have the original security hashes without the original page.

When OP stated everything I thought Intel were doing away with hosting drivers period leaving it to WU from MS where many lack all features/ function like proper drivers esp GPU drivers but nope I can still grab driver from Intel site right now.

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what they are doing as it was only supposed to be stuff that was 20 years old...

Generic GPU drivers have faired better but they have started to remove stuff from 10 years ago instead of 20.

Quick example no longer showing the last GPU driver you could download:

www.intel.co.uk/content/www/uk/en/support/products/48011/graphics-drivers/legacy-graphics/intel-graphics-media-accelerator-3150-intel-gma-3150.html

Lets hope it stays that way for GPU drivers and they are not as aggressive as they have been for their Bios removal.
