Intel Security Assist, what is it?

was installed when I installed management engine drivers for win 10. Can't find what it is for though.
Any ideas?

Sounds like something to do with a McAfee product.

Does sound like it but not sure what its for.

It's actually an Intel driver. Its to notify you of hardware issues, drivers and allow remote diagnosis/help on compatible Intel devices. It'a part of the Intel management engine.

seems like more of an enterprise solution, for remote problem solving.
