Looking for some help please.

I have a Ocz Agilty 3 SSD Drive 480 Gig.

My question is this:

Would I really better off installing windows to a normal sata drive and using my 480 Gig ssd for Intel Smart Response?

Or would my system perform better using the 480gig SSD as the normal OS drive without Install Smart Technology.

This is really confusing me as Intel Smart Technology seems good if you have only sat a 60 gig drive but would it benefit a 480 gig SSD drive?

The way I see it all my programs and games etc. would already be installed on the SSD as space is not an issue so how could I possibly benefit using a Intel Smart Response Technology?

Or am I missing something in that installing the OS to a Normal Sata drive would improve performance?

I just don't get it?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

If everything you want to install fits onto the SSD then there's no benefit in installing things on to a HDD and using Intel SRT with the SSD.

You can only use a maximum of 64GB for SRT anyway.

That's what I thought to, i just wasn't sure if i was missing something so basically I'm better off not using Intel Smart Technology i guess.

I thought there was a underlying technology (Hardware low-level based process) of some kind that improves performance overall.

Thanks for the welcome, I will be trying out over clocking my system no doubt this forum and shop will be of great use.
