Iam toying with the Idea of using SRT SSD Caching tech on my new build Iam planning.

has anyone used it or got any opinions on it?
- can I use ANY SSD for this purpose?

I see SanDisk sell ReadyCache drives...are these meant to be used with SRT or can they run on any computer/board/OS with the software supplied? if so what are they like? could I buy a cheaper board without SRT and use SanDisk readyCache drives & software instead?

thanks again

readycache drives are for all motherboards that dont support native caching

if your mb already supports it the any ssd can be used for caching

currently z67/z77 x79,i dont think p67 supports it

ive used it on my z68 and it works very well,i just used a normal ssd,it can only use upto 64gb

As wazza said, you can only use up to 64Gb for caching. If you have space left over you can partition it like a normal drive.
