OK guys
I updated my intel SSD the day the firmware came out for trim. (yes stupid now i know, I knew i should have waited.. ) But hay..
The update went fine,
Booted into Windows 7 and it redetected the disk. BUT I did not reboot i needed to get some files off.
Im still to reboot. Should i wait untill intel release a patch or can i roll back to an old firmware.
I have a copy of the disk on my windows home server so its easy to go back should the data go. But i dont have another disk i can use.
Can anyone explain what happens to the drive if / when it goes wrong due to the firmware.
Eg does it just need a format or sending back to intel.
Thanks
Rob
