Hi chaps, hopefully I should have a nice new shiny Intel SSD arriving in the post today. It's going in my main box, running Windows 7.
Just having a read of the install guide, Intel recommends using the default MS ACHI driver as this supports TRIM. Usually the first thing I do on a fresh install is install the Intel chipset drivers. If I do this is this going to overwrite the MS ACHI driver?
Also, are there any hardware requirements for TRIM apart from a compatible SSD? I know I should have checked this before buying!
