510 is the new flagship performance drives.

320 series are the new G3 revision mainstream drives which replace the older G2 drives. Ever so slightly cheaper and faster than the G2's so good value for money.

SSDs are great but £840 just as a price for anything is a lot. I love my SSD but for £840 I'd biuld up a half decent computer and just sell my old one (without the SSD of course)

I'm not sure who will buy these drives, except people who have never heard of OCZ or Corsair, who are either cheaper or faster (or both).

I guess they think "I've got an Intel CPU so I better get an Intel SSD". OK Intel have a good name for reliability, but if WD introduced HDDs that were considerably slower and more expensive than the competition, I doubt they'd sell many.

"...Intel drives not only perform better - they last longer" - so do they have a longer warranty? (I can't see it mentioned). As they use the same 25nm Micron NANDs as everyone else, I can't see that the "unique wear-leveling design" will make a huge difference to longevity.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're solid, reliable drives that will do the trick replacing a HDD, but going on read/write alone, I'm not too impressed. Unless they have lifetime warranties, I'll stick with OCZ.
